[Dean climbed out of the car and bounced eagerly on the balls of her feet as she waited for Sam. The sun was out, the breeze off the water was nice. She could already hear the sea lions barking even over the sound of traffic. It was going to be a very good day, she could feel it.]

[He crossed around, pocketing the keys to take her hand in his. Definitely hoped it was going to be a good day anyway...] Alright, let's go. [He smiled down at her, squeezing her hand lightly.]

[She squeezed his hand and held on, happy to do the sappy girl thing if it really didn't bother him. They crossed the street to the shops and she followed her nose to the candy store. Wall to wall chocolate. Was there anything better?] Mmmmm...

[Wall to wall chocolate... this place was probably like paradise to Dean, judging from the look on her face.] What did you wanna try here?

[It was pretty damn close to paradise. She wiggled excitedly in place before she moved, tugging him along by the hand to explore the different aisles and displays.] Not sure I know how to decide, to be honest...

[Free hand in his pocket, he let her drag him around the store, looking at the displays curiously. Like a kid in a candy store, literally.] Choose some good stuff, dude. I'm going to want some too.

[Dean laughed at that and happily made a few selections. The stuff was expensive, so she was careful not to go too crazy. A few good selections wouldn't be too bad, though. She hoped.] I don't mind sharing with you, Sammy. Chocolate's supposed to be an aphrodisiac, ya'know.

Dude, do you seriously think we need aphrodisiacs? [He snorted, amused.] We'd never leave the house.

You always say that, but we always make it out of the house! [She winked at him and took another minute to look around before she decided the handful of items she had was plenty.] See anything else you want?

Yeah, well, we have plenty of distractions before we do. [He gave a thoughtful hum, looking down at her collection.] That looks good.

Nothing wrong with a little distraction. [She grinned and took his hand again, tugging him toward the register. Couldn't help but be excited. There were a ton of things to do and she couldn't wait to get to them.]

[He let her tug him forward, just watching her a little amused. He always liked it when Dean got excited like this--he looked kind of like a big kid, the way his eyes would light up and how easy his smile came. It was even cuter on a girl's face, really. They did have a lot to see today though and Sam was kind of glad he was getting around to showing his brother the actual sights... not that the sex was ever not wanted.]

[The sex was amazing and Dean had no doubt they would find a way to work some in here or there, amid the touristy things they did. It was fun to finally get to see something she really wanted to... not because of a job or anything else. Just because it was cool.]

[Once the candy was paid for, she looped the bag over her wrist and took his hand with the other, tugging him toward the door and the sea lions she could already hear barking from the bay just a few yards away.] Ready?

[He followed her, turning his head to tangle their fingers.] Yeah, I am. Totally just following you today, Dean. Go wherever you want.

[He'd have fun either way, he was sure. He gave her hand a light squeeze.]

[She squeezed his hand back and gave him a brilliant smile. Nothing teasing or lecherous in it, for a change. Just happy.]

[A short walk across the boardwalk got them to the edge of the pier and she stopped by the rail to peer down at the dozens and dozens of sea lions piled up on floating rafts, catching the morning sun. She laughed at the noises they made and the dopey, wobbly way they moved above the water.] Awww... they're so ugly, they're cute.

[He was smiling himself, ducking his head a little. Should probably feel stupid with how warm that smile made him feel. Dean didn't give those genuinely happy smiles that much and it was too bad too... had a great smile.]

[He followed her, sliding an arm around her shoulders when they finally stopped, just watching them floating there.] Dude, look how many there are.

[Dean leaned against him and watched the sea lions swim and play or just lay around looking goofy. She couldn't help but grin. They were so funny looking. And those ridiculous sounds they made!] Crazy that they aren't scared of people at all. I swear that big one's giving me a dirty look...

Well, that could be because you said he was so ugly, he's cute. [He gave a teasing look.] Kind of a double-sided compliment, you know?

Aww, c'mon. It was a compliment! [She laughed and stuck her tongue out at the big seal. Then she glanced up and gave Sam the same treatment.] You're cute and cute, though.

[He rolled his eyes, though he couldn't quite help the fond look on his face when he looked back at her.] And you're a sap.

Am not. I just tell the truth. [She poked him lightly in the side and then leaned against him again, content to watch the big animals playing in the water for a while. The air off the water was chilly in her next to nothing attire, though, so she probably wouldn't want to stay too long.]

I'm not cute, dude. Puppies are cute. [He tightened his arms around her, rubbing her shoulder lightly as they stood around. Kind of... nice to be able to do this and not worry about people seeing him cuddle with his own brother. Maybe he was kind of sappy too.]

You're adorable. Just like a puppy. [She wrapped her arms around his waist and leaned her head against his chest. It was early enough that the pier was still fairly empty. The crowds would come later, she supposed.] So what did you do last time you were here?

Shut up, Dean. [He was still smiling though, rubbing a hand over her shoulder when she leaned in like that, settled in against him.] Wasn't long after I got settled up here... came up here for the weekend with some friends. I was still pretty new so they were mostly showing me around. Came out here the first day, hit up some shops they wanted to go to, some museums, stuff like that... Never got to go see Alcatraz though.

[He gave her a look, shrugging.] And of course they dragged me out to some clubs and crap at night. Pretty much insisted. Bet some of the places'd be ones you'd want to check out.

Did you wanna see Alcatraz? [She looked up at him, smiling pleasantly. She wouldn't mind seeing it, but she knew it was probably a lengthy thing. Didn't know if he wanted to take up that much time.] We can do the club thing if you want...
