Dude, that was awesome. And nothing tried to kill us, which is a step up for us, I think. [Well, a step up for her anyway. Sam was already working the normal life. She was just playing at it for a month. Although, honestly? She could tell already she was going to miss this when she changed back. Miss Sam.]

[She leaned into him and returned his smile, leaning up to kiss his neck lightly.] Thanks for giving me one of my, you know, lifelong dreams and all, Sammy.

You know, I'm not sure what that says about us if that's a high point. [That nothing tried to kill them... which admittedly, Sam was getting way too comfortable with the whole not being in mortal danger gig.]

[He paused at the kiss, a softer expression coming to his face at those words before he leaned in to kiss her gently.] It's nothing, Dean... glad you're having fun. Really. [Maybe their relationship was kind of... warped now, with this newest addition to it, but... he'd enjoyed getting to hang out with his brother without anything heavy hanging over them. Well, aside from the curse, but he'd had time to adjust to that, could deal with it while it lasted. Let them do all the stuff they normally couldn't... all the little sappy, stupid couple-y stuff Sam kind of enjoyed more than he wanted to let on like getting to kiss and hold hands in public.] Today's been really good... the whole visit has, really.

I choose not to think about what it says about us. [She laughed and returned his kiss softly, wrapping her arms around his waist and pressing up against him. Rubbed her face, admittedly a little chilled from the bay air, against his shoulder and hummed pleasantly. Warm, cozy. Just happy to be with him.] Yeah, it has. I'm really glad I got to spend all this time with you. Really missed you.

[He nodded, pulling her a little closer against him when he noticed the chill in the air. Dean hadn't worn the most practical clothes for this... though he kind of liked how that dress looked on her, so he wasn't complaining.] Yeah... I know, Dean. It's kind of cool to hang out like this again, huh?

Yeah, it is. Me and my Sammy. [She looked up at him and winked. Sappy, sure, but she had to milk it while she could. It wouldn't be too long before she was a he again and couldn't do this sort of thing.] Anything else you wanna see here? Or are you ready to go wait for the boat back?

[He snorted. Definitely sappy.] You're milking the girl thing, huh? [He couldn't help the fond smile that came to his lips though.] Guess we can get ready to head back, if you want?

Of course. I'm a Winchester. Always take the advantages when you get them. [She leaned up and kissed him lightly again.] C'mon. Let's go sit on the dock. You can curl around me and keep me warm. [She winked.]

[He shook his head, snorting as he started to head back towards the dock, keeping an arm curled around her.] Come on, let's go.

[They sat on the dock on one of the benches provided, Dean curled up beside Sam tightly. It was chilly, but she also just liked being pressed up against him. Twenty minutes or so later, the boat back to the mainland arrived. Dean requested to stay inside this time, rather than on the top deck. They sat by a window and still looked out over the bay as they headed back.]

[She looked over and smiled at him. Grabbed one of his hands and squeezed lightly.] Anything else you wanna do while we're here today?

I don't know... we got a lot done today, right? We can look around some more though, if you want... [He gave a teasing look.] Figured you might be bringing up that ice cream again.

I think we probably made a good day of it. [She laughed at that. Well, since he offered...] I could stand some ice cream. Don't forget we have to grab dinner on the way home, too.

Yeah, so back to that shop we went to earlier? [It had been pretty good after all...] Then I guess we should get back home. I do have class tomorrow...

Yep! Unless you want something else? [She wouldn't really mind if he decided he wanted to try something else, but it had been pretty good.] No problem, college boy. We'll get you home in time for your beauty rest.

It's fine with me,Dean. [He rolled his eyes at that.] Hey, you want me rested for whatever you've probably got planned for tomorrow night, right?

Is that permission to wear you out tomorrow? Bet I could think of something. [She laughed and tugged him to his feet when the boat docked. They got off the boat and stepped out into the Bay air.] Still wanna get a picture?

Don't you usually have permission to do that, dude? [He shook his head.] Yeah, definitely. One decent photo to remember this by wouldn't be so bad... [Ones that weren't all pornographic.]

Nah, I usually just do it. [She teased, taking his hand as they headed over to the shop to get their picture.] Hey, now. I thought those other pictures were awesome. [She really would have made an awesome porn star.]

[He rolled his eyes at that.] But those are definitely just for my eyes, dude. No one else gets to see them.

True. I kinda like that. [She grinned at him, then stepped up to the counter to get their picture. She liked it. The two of them just off the water, the Bay wind blowing their hair back. They were even both smiling.] What'cha think?

I like it. [He grinned when he saw... well, how happy they looked together, how comfortable they were. He moved to pay for the photo because that was definitely one that was going to be kept.]

Me too. [She held onto the picture while Sam paid, then took his hand again as they headed out toward the bakery. Everything they'd done today was perfect. It would be hard to top in the rest of the month.]

[He led her into the bakery when they got there, stepping up to look over the menu and humming thoughtfully as he decided what he wanted.] What are you getting?

Maybe another sandwich. The club sounds good. And another bowl of soup, 'cause that was awesome earlier. [She leaned against his shoulder and looked up at him.] What're you thinking?

Thinking the same thing. [Sandwich and soup because, yeah, it was good earlier. He went to tangle their fingers together and went to give their order-- to go this time.]

[She squeezed his hand, happy to lean against him while they waited for the food to be packaged. As soon as it was ready to go, they headed back to the Impala. As much fun as she had today, she was glad to be heading home. She could curl up with Sam and relax.]
