Sam kept Ozzy's attention on him as much as he could while Dean snooped through his toy collection... though he couldn't hold it for forever. Knew Ozzy would know what was up soon enough... which was just as well, all things considered. He didn't want to have to fish dog toys out from under the bed later.

... Oh crap. Maybe he should have snatched the little guy up before he darted under the bed because if Dean was that spooked, he was probably staying under there. He gave Ozzy another pat affectionately before going to kneel by the bed, peek under. "Dean... come on, you can't stay under there."

Except he could. Sam was kind of big to get too far under the bed.

Dean was huddled by the wall right in the middle of the bed where Sam and Ozzy couldn't reach him. He rubbed himself against the wall and the carpet to try and get the doggy slobber off. He gave Sam a pitiful look and an unhappy sound, then flopped down on his stolen sock.

Aww, he looked pitiful really and as a way to call a truce, Sam reached a hand under the bed to try and pet him... if he could reach. The chances didn't look too good. "How about I get you something to eat? You'd lke that, right?"

Sam's had was watched suspiciously. But, then he mentioned food and Dean realized he was pretty hungry. His little ferret metabolism was working overtime. Inch by inch, he moved a little closer and nosed at Sam's fingers. Eventually, he let Sam pull him out from under the bed and pick him up.

Alright then, time for a lift to the kitchen to look through the fridge. Not like he had ferret food on hand and he didn't know if he should eat Ozzy's... but they did have some leftovers and some stuff they'd gotten for sandwiches. He was trying the chicken first, taking a tiny little bite and held it out to the other. "How do you like that?"

Chicken! Dean gnawed on it enthusiastically, careful of Sam's fingers. He didn't want to get himself dropped or not fed! When it was gone, he looked up and gave his brother a hopeful look.

Looked like he enjoyed that, so, he offered him a little more, taking what he thought the other could handle and moving to the table to feed him. He put him on the table and offered another bite. "Go on."

Dean happily dove in when he was given permission. He wolfed down the chicken like it was the best thing ever. Right now, it kinda was. Soon, his stomach was full, though. He yawned and stretched, much more content now that he was fed and not being chewed on.

Aww, he was yawning. Sam reached out to pet the little ferret affectionately. "You want down, Dean?"

Dean arched into the petting happily and chased after Sam's hand when he pulled it away. He didn't really want to get down, but he wouldn't mind being picked up. He gave his brother a hopeful look and hovered at the edge of the table.

He got the hint and picked the other up in his arms, petting him a little more still. "Better?"

He made himself comfortable in Sam's arms and yawned again, resting his chin on Sam's forearm. Definitely better than being in puppy licking or chewing range. The petting was a very nice bonus, too. He made a content sound and buried his face in Sam's sleeve.

Aw, it was kind of cute the way Dean curled on in, got himself comfortable in his arms. Looked like he might fall asleep and... Sam was okay with that. He just kept up the soft petting and kept him close. It had been pretty funny watching Ozzy torment Dean, but... he figured any more and Dean might not come out from under the bed ever again.

Sammy was his safe spot. He wiggled around until he was tucked firmly into the crease between Sam's arm and his chest, half on his back, and sighed contentedly. His eyes closed and he yawned again, upside down. Sam was even warmer and more comfy when Dean was just a fraction of his size!

He laughed a little bit as Dean got comfortable... he was a touchy little thing even as a ferret! Not that he was surprised... Dean was quite a cuddler apparently. He looked comfortable, rolled over on his back, yawning and drifting off.

Nothing wrong with being cuddly! He was allowed. He was currently a little, furry thing. Furry things were built for cuddling. He snoozed happily in the crook of Sam's arm for as long as Sam would continue holding him.

Cute, furry things were built for cuddling and that's why Sam stayed put for awhile. Just let him sleep curled up in his arm. Eventually though, he did have to shift the little guy, had to move his arm. "Hey, come on... not your bed."

Dean woke up and yawned, wiggling around to blink sleepily up at Sam. He was so comfy to lay on! But, alright. He got up and carefully stepped down off Sam's arm onto his lap. After some stretching, he plopped himself down and started grooming.

Says the arm that's kind of going numb from being in the same position so long!

But it was forgiven with the way Dean looked like he was struggling to wake up as he settled in his lap. "Lazy." He reached down to pet the other again.

At that remark, Dean flopped over onto his back and peered up at his brother. He wasn't lazy! He was cute and fuzzy! See his little feet twitching in the air, Sam?

Dean was abusing the cute an fuzzy thing! He laughed and reached down to playfully scratch his stomach since Dean looked like he wanted to play with his little feet twitching up like that.

It was not abuse if Sam was laughing! He squeaked and squirmed at the belly scratches, catching Sam's wrist with his front paws and nibbling gently on his hand.

Hey, it was hard not to laugh when you had a squirming little pile of fur on your lap... especially when Dean was grabbing at his hand like that and biting at his hand. He waggled his fingers teasingly at that.

Dean happily chased the fingers, batting and nibbling at them while Sam waggled them around. Then he jumped up and hopped around on the couch, doing his mighty war dance!

Oh, terrifying! That didn't stop Sam from making some playful grabs for him, giving him plenty of time to... dance away, if he wanted. "Man, wish I had a video of this to show you tomorrow..."
