Sam kept Ozzy's attention on him as much as he could while Dean snooped through his toy collection... though he couldn't hold it for forever. Knew Ozzy would know what was up soon enough... which was just as well, all things considered. He didn't want to have to fish dog toys out from under the bed later.

He snorted as Dean ate the ham happily before he finished making his sandwich and headed over the the table with a can of soda he snatched from the fridge.

After that, he went to settle at the table to eat.

While Sam ate, Dean make affectionate, snuffly sounds and nosed at his cheek lightly. This was still not the worst curse he'd even had put on him. Well, as long as it didn't last forever. He could handle it for a little while, but sooner or later, he was going to miss things like sex and driving his damn car!

He offered the other a couple bites here and there, unable to help smiling at those affectionate little motions. He was pretty sure this was a pretty tame curse, that it'd be over soon and it... definitely wasn't the worst. He could think of the time Dean forgot who he was or showed up in a fevered mess... those were pretty bad.

But the girl thing and this? Weren't so bad... though he would miss the sex if Dean was like this too long.

After Sam was done eating, Dean skittered down one of his arms, onto his lap, and down his leg, onto the floor. He sniffed around the kitchen interestedly.

Sam watched the other curiously as he skittered down his body, tilting his head as he sniffed around the kitchen. "If you see something shiny, leave it, Dean."

Awww, but he liked shiny things, Sam! Fortunately, there was nothing interesting in the kitchen. Not on the floor, anyway. He peeked around the door to make sure there was no Ozzy in the living room before he wandered in to explore it.

But they were going to end up under the bed... and Sam wasn't going to be the one fishing that crap out! He got to his feet to clean any of his dishes and paused at the fridge to grab out something to drink, a bottle of water, before he went to make sure Dean was staying out of trouble.

Nope! Not out of trouble. Dean was busy wrestling one of Sam's shoes on the living room floor. It had him wrapped up in its laces, but he was still kicking its ass!

"Dean! My shoe..." He moved in to try and untangle him from the lashes, shaking his head. "Come on, get away from that."

Dean wasn't done defeating the shoe, Sam! He climbed head first into it, most of his body still dangling out. The more he squirmed around, the more the laces got twisted up around him.

It was defeated enough! But he watched the other, wondering just how much more tangled he was going to get. "Dude..."

Eventually, he stopped and panted, looking up at Sam from his lace web. Stuck now. He squeaked helplessly at his brother.

"See? Told you not to..." But he as a nice guy, so he'd untie him from his laces.

Once he was free, he bounced happily around Sam's feet and nuzzled lightly at his ankle, before going on to see what other trouble he could get into.

"Brat," he grumbled playfully when Dean ran off to do... God only knew what, but it'd be hard to top the laces.

Right? He followed the little animal with his eyes.

Dean found Sam's school bag and climbed in to see what he could find. A minute later, his head popped back out with one of Sam's mechanical pencils in his mouth. Then he took off for the bedroom to stash it!

"Dude! Now I'm really sure you don't need to chew that!" Okay, he needed to make the mental note to put his bag up off the floor next time Dean was hit with a curse. He chased after him, trying to catch him before he go to the bed to stash that too.

Mine, mine, mine!

Dean skittered across the hardwood floors, trying to make it to the bed before Sam grabbed him. The pencil was a little bigger than the quarter, though. Made running awkward.

It wasn't! Thief.

He reached out, grabbing for the other, but he couldn't help a snort. "You look ridiculous! It's too big for you to even carry, Dean."

Foiled!

Dean gave Sam a pouty look, as much as a ferret could, and hung on tight to his stolen goods. Even if it did dangle awkwardly from his mouth and make his head tilt funny in Sam's grasp.

He snorted, reaching to try and tug the pencil away from him. "Give it here, you jerk. Stop giving me that look."

Fine! Pirate! He'd just find something better to steal later!

He let go of the pencil and gave Sam a look, his chin dropping pitifully onto Sam's arm. How can you say no to this face?

There will be no more stealing if he can help it!

But aw, he did feel kind of bad at that look. He reached down to pet him lightly, soothingly. "You'll find something better, knowing you."

There would be lots of stealing, Sammy! Just you wait!

His pout vanished under the petting. He gave a pleased sound and pushed up into the touch.

Under their bed was going to be quite a sight to see! Like the hiding space of a particularly weird pirate with a love of mechanical pencils.

But for right now, Sam just kept up the petting lightly, soothingly.
