Sam kept Ozzy's attention on him as much as he could while Dean snooped through his toy collection... though he couldn't hold it for forever. Knew Ozzy would know what was up soon enough... which was just as well, all things considered. He didn't want to have to fish dog toys out from under the bed later.

Sam watched the other go out of the kitchen and tilted his head to watch where he was going... and to make sure he didn't end up in Ozzy's mouth again.

Dean skated around the edges of the room to stay out of Ozzy's eyesight and wandered into the bedroom, heading back to his little stash under the bed. He flopped down on Sam's sock and huffed an unhappy sigh.

Sam let Dean slink off back under the bed for now, deciding to do whatever little cleaning up needed to be done in the kitchen for now and then taking the time to snatch a toy from Ozzy's collection--some little ball that he figured was bright and attention grabbing enough to maybe get Dean's attention.

He stretched out beside the bed and peeked under, rolling the ball teasingly on the floor next to him. "Gotcha' something... wanna see?"

When he heard Sam come in, he looked over to watch Sam's feet appear beside the bed, then Sam's face when he stretched out. The ball did catch his attention and he turned his head to watch it roll back and forth across the floor.

He got up and wandered closer to watch.

Sam gave a playful, challenging look as he rolled the toy again. It was tiny enough, he figured, that Dean should be able to play with it. "You want it?"

Dean poked his head out from under the bed and watched the ball roll. When it got closer, he bounced forward to make a grab for it. His paw bumped it and sent it rolling again. He chased after it.

Sam laughed, watching Dean chase the toy as he pawed it around... well, it was a lot easier to get back on his good side like this from the looks of it.

Dean didn't really want to stay upset with Sam. He loved Sam and Sam was his best friend.

Plus, he was operating on a weasel brain right now and was easily distracted by shiny things. Or colorful, rolling balls. He caught the ball and nosed at it for a minute before he pounced on it again, sending it rolling back toward Sam.

Well, Dean happened to be his best friend too, so it was kind of good they were on the same page. Little arguments aside, Sam preferred it like this. Getting along. When the ball rolled back to him, he snatched it up before sending it back in Dean's direction.

He chased it where it rolled behind the nightstand, coming out dusty but victorious. He pounced on the ball and wrapped his fuzzy body around it, gnawing enthusiastically on the colorful rubber.

Sam laughed and reached out to poke at Dean playfully, trying to distract him and get him to chase his hand. "Dude, looks like you got in a fight with vicious dust bunnies back there."

Sam's hand was distracting. He bounced away from the ball to give chase. When he caught his brother's fingers, he nibbled on them carefully.

He waggled his fingers, shook his hand, anything to tease his brother as he chased and nibbled his fingers, giving a soft snort. "Fun as this is, Dean, I am going to need that hand back eventually, you know."

Dean looked up at Sam's words and gave a snort. Then he sneezed from the dust. Ick. He made a grumbling sound and purposefully bounced into the bathroom. When Sam came in, he'd find Dean waiting patiently on the shower floor, under the shower head.

He followed the other with a little smile and watched him. "Dude, come here. Sink'll be easier... if we use the shower, I'm gonna get soaked."

Awww, the sink was no fun! It was small. He did go over to Sam, though it didn't mean he wasn't going to pout!

He saw that pouty look and smirking a bit, Sam relented. He tugged off his shirt so it wouldn't get wet and went to turn the shower on, giving Dean an expectant look. Hey, if he wanted in the shower? He could knock himself out.

Woo! Shower! Dean bounced back into the shower, hopping around in the shower spray. He snapped playfully at the little jets of water and shook out his fur.

Okay, so that was cute. And also wet. He went to grab the shampoo they got for Ozzy and hoped it was fine to use on ferrets too before going back to the shower and bending down, waving it around. "Enough playing, dude, time to get clean for real."

It was never enough playing time! Dean bounced forward near Sam's hands and tried to dodge them when he grabbed for him. He hopped around playing keep away from his brother's hands.

"Dean! Come on," he complained as Dean jumped away from him again. "I'm getting all wet here..."

He was going to need a shower at this rate... not that he wasn't already getting a pretty thorough one.

Dean bounced around a minute more before he finally relented and let Sam catch him. He nuzzled against his brother's hand lightly and waited for the shampoo. It smelled pretty weird and he didn't figure he'd really like it much, but it wouldn't last too long, hopefully.

"Now who's the brat?" he smiled though, petting Dean briefly before he started to suds him up. He was careful to not get the soap near his eyes, washing him up quickly. He nudged him back towards the spray of water then. "Okay, you're done, Dean."

Yuck, yuck, yuck! Dean hurried under the water to rinse the soap off. He wiggled around and shook his fur out a dozen times until it was good and clean. Then he played around another couple of minutes, because chasing the water was fun.

Okay, he let him go for a couple more minutes before reaching up to cut the water off, getting a towel ready with the other hand to dry him off and keep him wrong. "Okay, come on. Enough playing, dude."
