When Sam woke, it was in a bed that wasn't his own and without his dad or brother in sight... needless to say, there was a lot of freaking out. He fumbled out of bed and went looking through the apartment he was in... only to find a dog and not much else. Nothing that would tell him where he was anyway or where Dad or Dean was, when they'd be back.

He even got desperate enough to grab the phone and try their numbers... only to find them no longer in use which was just... even weirder. Now he was even more worried.

"Dude, I told you... I'll bet you anything that you don't come close. I'm good at skee-ball." and since his bro seemed so smug about it, Sam would just have to prove it!

"We'll see." Dean tossed the clothes into the back seat and climbed in behind the wheel. Sam probably would win, but Dean had to put up a good front. No sense in letting the kid get one over on him too easy. "I have hidden talents you don't know about, Sammy. I'm a complicated man."

He rolled his eyes at Dean's insistence, snorting at the 'complicated man' stuff. "What kind of hidden talents? Just skee-ball?"

"I'm a master chef, dude. You saw for yourself! I also mix a mean martini and I can pick up any girl who's actually into guys." Still true, even if he didn't put it into practice these days! "That's plenty of talent, right there."

"You know how to cook, but there's no way you're a master chef, Dean." He shook his head, smiling a little bit at the insistence that he could pick up girls still.

"I hope your pickup lines have gotten better... they're so lame." Well, that wasn't entirely true maybe. Dean knew how to talk to girls way better than he did. And his brother was cool. If he let on too much though, then he'd get a big ego and he couldn't have Dean gloating all the time.
