[When Sam finally started to stir, he really wished he hadn't. He really had the mother of all hangovers here - his head was throbbing and god, everything felt horrible. His memory of last night was pretty hazy too, to boot. He did realize pretty quick off the bat that he'd been sleeping on Dean, tangled up in him.] Dean?

[Much as his body felt sluggish and heavy still, the minute he realized they were naked, he gave a jolt away from Dean, memories hazily filtering back in. Bits and pieces at least and he wasn't sure if his stomach did a flip because of some of the stuff he recalled or because of the hangover.] Dean! You... you need to wake up.

Comfy, there? [Dean immediately buried his hands in Sam's hair, combing through it and rubbing against his scalp.]

[He gave a soft hum in response, tilting his head back to look at the other.] Definitely am, Dean. You?

Oh yeah. [He grinned down at his brother, still lazily petting and stroking. His fingers occasionally slipped down the back of Sam's neck and back.]

[He gave a soft noise at the touches, shifting his weight a little to be able to lean up and press his lips to the other's.]

We never got to make that bet, huh?

Nope, we never did. [He kissed him again.] Kinda sad. I was looking forward to hearing some of those terms of yours.

Well, maybe next visit or something... [He smiled slightly] Guess we'll have to just wing it if you were planning anything else tonight.

[Dean tightened his arms around Sam, pulling him closer.] Didn't really have any plans. I think you should tell me something you want. [Kissed him slowly.] There anything in particular on your mind, Sammy?

[He tipped his forehead against the other's after the kiss, eyes drifting shut.] Not really... enjoying this, Dean, just getting to hang out. [He tilted his head, nuzzling into the side of Dean's face, kissing lightly over the skin.]

Mmmm... [He let his eyes slide shut, holding Sam close to him as he relaxed into his brother's nuzzling and kissing. It was nice. Nothing hurried. Just enjoying touching and being touched.]

[And Sam kept up the lazily, affectionate pace. He wasn't in a hurry here and really... he didn't have any specific goal in mind. The way Dean kept him close and relaxed into him was nice enough to encourage him on.] Weekend kinda flew by, didn't it?

[he rested his head on the other's shoulder, eyes drifting shut. He reached up to idly toy with that pendant Dean still wore, nuzzling smiling a little.] I wasn't expecting this... like at all, but I'm going to miss it when you're gone, man.

Yeah, it did. [Dean nuzzled in against Sam's temple, taking a deep breath of the scent of clean and Sam. Smiled when he felt fingers on his necklace.] Gonna miss you. It's gonna be really hard to drive away tomorrow.

I'm, uh... I'm glad you made the trip, Dean. [He looked up slowly.] I know... the night I left wasn't... all that pretty.

[Dean shrugged, his voice going quiet.] You did what you had to do. I wish it had gone down differently, but... that's life. 'Specially ours.

Yeah... guess you're right. [He paused, still idly toying with the other's necklace, looking down at it.] Dad doesn't know you're up here, does he?

No. I didn't tell him. [He tightened his arms around Sam, resting his face against the top of his brother's head. He hated that talking about their father caused them both pain. He'd give anything to have his family back together.] Think you two'll ever talk again?

Dean - [He breathed out a sigh. Shouldn't have even brought the topic up, he knew he shouldn't have.] I doubt Dad would even answer the phone for me, dude. [Hated that Dad was actually disappointed in him for getting a free ride to a good college... hated even thinking about the man most times, honestly.]

[There wasn't any way he could answer. He truly believed Dad would answer if Sam called, but if he said so, he was sure Sam would see it as defending the old man. He couldn't agree with Sam either. Instead, he closed his eyes and kissed the top of Sam's head.] Things'll get better. We'll figure it out.

[Sam nodded slowly against him... what else was he going to do? Not argue it, not right now, but he didn't have much faith in things getting better here... Letting go of the necklace, he moved slightly, enough to be able to kiss Dean on the lips lightly.]

[Dean kissed him back just as soft. He was pretty sure Sam didn't believe him, but he was still going to try. And keep working on Dad. One day, the stubborn mule was going to have to listen to reason. He hoped...] Just remember I'm still proud of you and I always have been, okay?

[He smiled against the other's lips, pulling away to give a slow nod.] Yeah... thanks, Dean. [He shifted until he was on Dean's lap and leaned in to kiss over his face, down his jaw.]

[He tilted his head back onto the back of the couch, eyes slipping closed under Sam's kisses. His hands slipped under the back of Sam's shirt and rubbed lightly up and down his back and sides.]

I'm glad, you know? [He murmured against the other's skin, giving a soft sigh at the feel of his brother's hands against his skin. Might be a little sappier than Dean wants to hear, but whatever... they were still practically cuddling on the couch, so he figured Dean could deal.] I can make you proud at least, man.

[Dean opened his eyes and looked down at Sam.] Always proud. You've always been too damn smart and such a pain in my ass, but seeing you do all this brainy stuff I can't do... I dunno, I feel like I had a part in something good.

[He caught the other in a kiss, giving a playful nip at the other's lower lip. Mood was definitely getting better now... better if they just didn't talk about Dad.] You definitely helped, Dean.

Yeah? [That felt good to hear. He smiled, leaning in to kiss back.] I did okay with the whole taking care of you thing?
