The fact that he'd even thought about making a deal in the first place and the fact that he might be poison somehow, something not quite right.

He finished off the first glass and poured a second. After seeing Dad laying drunk so often in his downtime, watching Dana never shy away from drinks, Sam typically tried to avoid alcohol as a way to cope, but... stressful times. He kind of got why people liked to drink their problems and feelings away right now.

He wished they could go back... to when things were easy, when they were happy together and nothing had cast any doubt on them.
