Happy Birthday [For [insanejournal.com profile] samefivealbums]

He rolled his eyes, though fondly, as he got up and gave Dean a tug to follow once he got the bill covered. "Come on... wanna get you back home, Dean... we can start to celebrate for real."

Though he wasn't too big on drinking anymore tonight. Kind of wanted to be sober for the night's festivities. He leaned in to speak against the other's ear, "Got a night planned for you, man. Hope you're ready."

"Guess we can veg out for awhile. Uh, watch TV?" Sam was pretty comfortable with whatever, but just kicking back with Dean for awhile sounded nice...

"Sounds good." Dean slipped his free arm around Sam and smiled. "I'll even let you decide what we watch first. Even though you have crappy taste in TV," he teased.

"Sure it is." Dean's tone indicated he didn't think so. In actuality, Sam's taste wasn't really all that bad, but Dean couldn't resist teasing him about it. "You pick something boring and I'm gonna spend the whole time muttering filthy things in your ear."

"You're going to do that anyway, dude. And if I let you choose all the time, you'd either watch bad TV shows, Westerns, or porno." Well, actually, Dean did like a lot of interesting things too... but he wasn't going to outright say that.

It was true. One of Dean's very favorite things was seeing how long it took to distract Sam completely from whatever he was doing, using only dirty talk. His record was five minutes. "You love it when we watch porno, you admitted it."

If Sam knew Dean was keeping a record... he'd probably do his hardest to not give in as much. Though it was kind of hard when he had his brother whispering the filthiest things in his ear, things he knew would get Sam worked up. He snorted at that. "You can't watch porn every day though, Dean... and I'm sure you would."

That was why Dean didn't tell him! It would ruin the game! He laughed as they approached their building. "Sure I would. Nothing wrong with a good skin flick to get your blood pumping."

Not that they needed it, really.

"Your blood's always pumping." He gave Dean a playful nudge to the side as he quickened his steps a little to lead them back up to their apartment.

"I'll show you pumping," Dean leered and hurried after Sam. Ozzy liked it when they jogged. He really should actually jog with the poor guy sometime. Maybe tomorrow.

"Perv." He bet he would, if given half the chance. He laughed a little when he saw Ozzy moving to keep up, excited over the faster pace. He got them to the elevator and once they were going up, he decided to lean in and press his lips to Dean's playfully.

Of course he was a perv. It was in his job description. When Sam kissed him, he smiled and leaned into it, reaching up to cup his brother's neck lightly with his free hand. "Tease," he shot back when the kiss ended.

"You like it,"he murmured back, straightening up to step off the elevator and go get their door open. Besides, he totally wasn't a tease... he always made good on whatever he said for the most part.

It was true. Dean did like it. No, loved it. Sam always kept him guessing.

He followed Sam into their apartment and knelt to release Ozzy from his harness. The puppy darted for his water bowl and then his toy box. Typical. Dean put the leash away and flopped down on the couch to wait for Sam.

Grabbing the remote, Sam settled on the cushions next to Dean, leaning into him, head resting against his shoulder as he flipped idly through the channels to find something on.

Dean tipped his head against Sam's and settled in to watch whatever his brother decided on. Figured he'd give whatever it was a chance before he decided to... entertain himself.

Sam eventually left the it on the History Channel, on a documentary that looked interesting enough. Putting the remote aside, he let his hand rest lightly on Dean's knee, giving an affectionate little squeeze.

The gesture made him smile and he shifted to wrap his arm around Sam's shoulders and pull him closer. He could sit through a documentary a while. The History Channel usually had fighting and stuff to keep his interest. He nuzzled his brother's temple lightly and let his fingertips rub Sam's shoulder lightly.

Sam was comfortable, resting against Dean... with Dean behaving and not complaining about the show to boot. He was content to just sit and watch the documentary until Dean decided he either wanted to snatch the remote, or he was getting bored.

Dean managed to behave himself for about half an hour. By then, he was tired of the ancient Romans and anxious for something different. Sam still seemed to be perfectly well enthralled with the show, though. Which meant Dean could be an ass and disrupt everything entirely... or amuse himself quietly.

And almost certainly still distract Sam.

With that thought in mind, he started to slowly pull away.

Sam felt the other pulling away and shifted a little to let him him. Didn't mean Dean didn't get a curious look thrown his way though.

Dean was probably plotting something.He knew that look.
