When Sam woke, it was in a bed that wasn't his own and without his dad or brother in sight... needless to say, there was a lot of freaking out. He fumbled out of bed and went looking through the apartment he was in... only to find a dog and not much else. Nothing that would tell him where he was anyway or where Dad or Dean was, when they'd be back.

He even got desperate enough to grab the phone and try their numbers... only to find them no longer in use which was just... even weirder. Now he was even more worried.

Dean doubled the cheese fries order and then sat back to watch the ships sailing. All in all, it had been a pretty good day so far, in spite of finding his brother shrunk. Hopefully, Sam's questions would stay as benign as they had been. He hated lying to his brother, but there were some things he couldn't answer for him.

"Anything you wanna do after this?"

"Maybe go home?" Felt weird to call that apartment 'home', really, but not in a bad way at all. "We could watch a movie or something."

Sam wasn't stupid, but he wasn't really at the age where he was thinking about Dean as anything but his big brother and it really didn't occur to him to consider the option, even if he was noticing a lot of weird things.

He just couldn't quite wrap his mind around them, that's all. The single bedroom (from what he'd seen anyway), the way that Dean wanted to avoid the bookstore Sam worked at...

Either way, right now? He just wanted to enjoy whatever this was. The peace and quiet, Dean right there with him. "Something with Bruce Lee in it."
