[As soon as they'd both got in the car, Sam was making his way towards the nearest clothing store he could think of. They needed to get Dean some seriously more appropriate clothes here soon. Though the thought of panty or bra shopping with Dean? A little bit awkward.]

[He was strangely more interested about the possible month with his brother than he thought he would've been before... Dean had come up. It was good to have his brother back in some way than when he'd first left for college. Still not something he wanted to think about and he didn't want to dwell on that bad blood, especially right now.]

So... how's it feel anyway? Waking up in a different body?

Dude, do you really think I'm that... I don't know, innocent? I can handle short skirts... actually, I kinda like it. [He wasn't going to like it when they got to the club and Dean got attention, but... at least he knew she was going home with him.]

I didn't say that. It's just not much longer than the school girl one and you were pretty adamant about me not wearing that one out. [She leaned up and kissed his cheek. She wasn't so far gone that she was wearing any make up or jewelry. Just Sam's necklace, tied a bit higher on the cord to keep it from dangling uncomfortably.] I'm glad you like it. The lady at the store insisted that every girl had to have one little black dress.

[She was kind of looking forward to seeing what Sam did when other guys stared, no lie. It was flattering to have someone jealous over her.]

Maybe that was because it was a school girl outfit. [He gave a teasing look at that, smiling a little bit wider when he saw the amulet between them and reached up to lightly touch it.] You never take that off, do you? [Be lying if he said he didn't... kind of like it. That Dean kept that gift with him.] You picked out one hell of a dress, dude.

[And if they stuck around, he kind of figured where this would probably end up... with more 'misbehaving', so he reluctantly drew away.] You ready to head out?

Details, details. [She grinned and looked down to watch his hand reach out to touch the amulet.] Nope, never do. I feel naked without it. Not in the fun naked way.

[She nodded to his question. It felt so weird to be going out completely unarmed.Dad would pitch a fit.] You got the keys?

[He gave a laugh at that, pleased that... it was actually that important to her and leaned in for another quick kiss.] Yeah, got the keys, Dean. Let's get going.

[Dean reached to open the door and stepped through, waiting for Sam on the outside. Once he was out and the door locked behind him, she wrapped an arm around his.]

[He smiled a little when she took his arm and went to lead the way out of the building.]

You're in a good mood. [She kissed his shoulder lightly as they stood in the elevator.] Looking forward to going out?

I don't know... just in a good mood today. [Maybe because things had been- pretty good since Dean had shown up, even if it was pretty damn weird.]

Good. We'll see if we can keep you in a good mood tonight. [She winked at him and leaned in against his side. Ever since she'd gotten to Sam's place, she'd felt better. Sure, the curse wasn't her favorite thing ever, but it had yielded up some unforeseen benefits.]

Yeah? How are you gonna do that? [He rolled his eyes at that, smiling to himself. When they stepped off the elevator, he reached down to take her hand, leading her out of the building and to the car.]

I have ways. [She purred at him, grinning happily. She'd be good, though. It was nice to go out and do something together. No reason to ruin that.] Besides... are you saying it won't make you happy to have a stunningly hot chick on your arm all night? [She smirked.]

Well, I'm already happy, you know, so the hot chick thing is just a bonus. [It was rare to feel like that... relaxed and happy. It was just- nice, for a change. Nice to hang out with Dean without anything related to hunting being brought up too--besides the curse anyway.]

[When they got to the Impala, he went to slip in the driver's side.]

[She slipped into the passenger's seat. It was nice to see Sam in such a good mood. He was so serious most of the time. He looked relaxed, now.] Suppose anyone you know will be there?

Probably, yeah. [He shrugged. He was trusting Dean here not to reveal too much, say something his friends were better off not knowing...] We can say we've- known each other since we were kids or something. They know I traveled a lot, most of them anyway, so we could've met anywhere really. [Normally, Sam wasn't much for hanging out at clubs and crap, but... figured Dean might like it. At least she might like the drinks and seeing- some of the people Sam knew.]

Mmm'kay. We can have had a fling in Illinois and I liked it so much I had to chase you here to California. [She winked at him playfully. She'd be as well behaved as she could. It was important to Sam, so it was important to her. Part of her really wanted Sam's friends to like her, too.]

Yeah, no. [He gave her a look.] Classmates won't work since you're older, but dude, you could be like an old tutor or anything. Neighbor.

[She blinked in surprise at the look. She was really trying.] I didn't mean classmates. I was just... trying to be funny. Neighbors is fine.

I was just trying to come up with a story, Dean... [He shrugged- it wasn't anything more than the usual annoyance at Dean's attempts to joke.] Neighbors it is though.

Sorry. Just nervous. [She rubbed her hands on her thighs and looked out the window. It was already dark. The club should be decently hopping by the time they get there.]

Nervous? [He repeated, giving a curious look.] You?

Yeah. [She twisted her fingers together, focusing on the darkened scenery rolling by outside.] We're going somewhere where people might know you. I don't wanna fuck it up and embarrass you.

Dean... it'll be okay, dude. [He shrugged.] As long as you don't talk about the weird crap Dad made us do, it'll be fine.

I won't. I promise. [She was still worried, but hopefully it would work out. If she wasn't sure what to say, she'd just not say anything and hope that worked.]

It'll be fine. [somehow, it would be... Slowly, he reached over to place a hand on her knee, giving it a reassuring squeeze.] You want to leave anytime, man, just tell me or-- uh, if you don't want to go at all. [He really hadn't meant to make Dean worry that much after all...]
