So, Sam checked around, asked a few friends, and finally found a nice little secluded spot for him and Dean to take that little camping trip they'd planned forever ago. All that had been left was getting supplies together, making plans, and then waiting for the time off to go. But it had all happened and it had all gone smoothly, thankfully. "Good. We're doing okay, then." He grinned over at his brother, then dug a couple plates out of the gear. Sam's salad was in a lidded plastic bowl he handed over with Sam's dressing from home and a fork. Then he plated up the sizzling ribs and handed one plate to Sam. "Look okay?"

He took the salad he was offered, opening the bowl and giving a grin when the other sat the ribs out for him. "Yeah, definitely, man. Looks really good." He started to eat the salad first. Really worked up an appetite after earlier.

Dean grinned and dug right into dinner. He was hungry, too and looking forward to a lot more fun after dinner. The flameless candles were still flickering inside the tent and there was still a chair to break in. Sam's, since they already had a little fun on his.
