Dean picked up the rest of the bags and opened the door for them. He closed and locked it once he and Sam were out, then headed to the elevator. By the time they reached the ground floor, he was fairly well radiating hostility, so anyone they ran into would do well to take their opinions and unbroken faces elsewhere.

He opened the trunk to drop in their bags, tossed Ozzy's pet carrier in the back in case they needed it, and waited for Sam to get settled in the car with the puppy before he closed the trunk lid and climbed into the driver's seat.
