He rolled his eyes, though fondly, as he got up and gave Dean a tug to follow once he got the bill covered. "Come on... wanna get you back home, Dean... we can start to celebrate for real."

Though he wasn't too big on drinking anymore tonight. Kind of wanted to be sober for the night's festivities. He leaned in to speak against the other's ear, "Got a night planned for you, man. Hope you're ready."

"Mmm-hmm. Somebody wore me out last night." While he was wearing Sam out. It was nice how well those things worked out. He closed his eyes and let his fingertips wander lightly along Sam's spine, just to touch. "Might have to start looking forward to my birthdays from now on..."

"I wasn't the only one, Dean." He'd been pretty exhausted too. He let out a pleasant noise when his brother's fingers trailed up his back, curling in a little tighter to the other.

"You should. Going to try and make sure you have a good time during them..."

"Just wait until your birthday rolls around. I'm gonna think of something amazing." He would, too. Something unforgettable, just like he got this weekend for his birthday. They deserved good holiday memories now, to make up for all the lackluster ones growing up.

"You don't have to go all out, dude." He was fine with whatever Dean came up with, he was sure. He leaned up to kiss the other's cheek lightly. "So, what do you say to a shower and then breakfast?"

Oh, he had to go all out. He wanted Sam's next birthday to be as well remembered as this one was going to be for him. He smiled at the suggestion and nodded. "I think that sounds like a great idea. C'mon..."

He slowly rolled away and got to his feet, stretching beside the bed before he headed for the bathroom to start the water.

Sam got up and followed soon after, going to step into the shower with Dean. He went to slide his arms around him, kissing the back of his shoulder. He reached for the soap then to start washing the other up.

He smiled at the kiss and leaned back against Sam. While his brother scrubbed him, Dean was happy to let his eyes close and just enjoy the feel of Sam's hands moving on him. "I think the shower is my favorite part of the day..."

"Mine too." Even if they weren't exactly starved for touching, getting Dean pressed up against him in the shower, with a free pass to touch wherever he wanted. He turned his head to kiss the other's cheek, taking his time washing Dean up before nudging him under the water.

After he was rinsed, he stepped out from under the water and took the soap back. Then it was his turn to get his hands on Sam, keeping him close as he scrubbed him thoroughly. "Love you."

He smiled a little at that, tipping his head in. "Love you too, Dean." He brought up his hand to brush over the side of the other's face lightly. He swayed into his brother's hands, leaned in to kiss and nuzzled along his face affectionately.

Dean smiled into the kiss and gently nudged Sam back under the water spray to rinse him off. No need to stop kissing, he figured. His hands worked just fine without his lips being free.

When Sam was clean, he pulled back and nuzzled him. "What do you say we get dressed, put Ozzy's leash on, and walk down to that Cafe down the street for breakfast? We can sit outside at one of the tables and he can people watch."

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." And Ozzy'd like getting to go some place different for awhile, he was sure, especially if there were new people.

Reluctantly, he pulled back."C'mon, let's go." He took a step back to get out of the shower and grab for some towels for them.

He turned off the water and followed Sam out, taking the towel he was offered and drying off quickly. Then he stepped into the bedroom to get dressed. Definitely felt good this morning. Content. He might hum if he didn't know Sam would tease him.

Sam went to slip in his clothes and grabbed Ozzy's leash and harness to get him ready for his walk... and it was like the dog had a sixth sense when it came to these things, since he was jumping around Sam's feet in no time in anticipation.

Not spoiled at all.

Dean laughed as he watched the dog dance around Sam. Not spoiled at all. It was a good thing they'd never have a chance of children together. Dean would name them all after rock musicians and together they'd spoil them within an inch of their lives.

He shrugged into his jacket and went to get the front door for them. "Ready?"

He knelt down and got the dog ready for his walk. Oh, God... it was a good thing they couldn't have kids. Sam couldn't do rock star names on kids... it was one thing on puppies, not babies! Dean would never be allowed to name children as long as Sam's around.

He grabbed his own jacket and nodded. "Yep."

He followed the other out of the building, letting him lead the way.

No fun, Sammy! Little Lars Junior would be a happy baby!

As they walked down the street to the cafe, Dean slipped an arm around Sam's waist. He watched Ozzy dart from tree to tree and all the other interesting objects. Nothing made him happier than getting outside!

Yeah, no babies, ever. Not unless Sam names them.

Besides, with as spoiled as their dog was,he'd probably be jealous sharing attention with babies, even rock star-named babies. He smiled a little, watching Ozzy dart around as he leaned into Dean a little.

It was weird to think how normal this was... and how content he actually felt with it all.

As they approached the cafe, Dean took a deep breath of the coffee and baked good smell wafting on the breeze. Mmmm. He turned to Sam and nuzzled him lightly.

"You wanna go in and order or sit outside with Oz?"

"I'll sit with Ozzy." He drew away then. "I'll take whatever... uh, surprise me."

Even if Dean complained about the way he ate or his girly coffees, he knew his brother knew his tastes well enough to know what to get him off the menu.

"Alright." He gave Sam a squeeze and released him to walk inside the restaurant while Sam grabbed a table outside. He picked out a breakfast plate for each of them and a couple of fresh baked muffins because they smelled too good to pass up. He might also have ordered an extra side of bacon, because there were no doubt going to be sad eyes watching him eat his.

In not too long, he rejoined Sam and Ozzy, setting their breakfast down on the table along with his own regular coffee and Sam's froofy one.

Sam settled in, idly scratching Ozzy while he waited... and then watched as the pup excitedly starting sniffing around because he caught the scent of food. "Looks good."

He shifted forward a little to start eating.

Sam should be proud. Dean made it a whole five minutes into breakfast before he was slipping Ozzy a piece of bacon under the table. Not exactly stealthy, since he was sure Sam expected it anyway.

Hey, five minutes might be a record! Usually, Dean did good to make it to three. "You're the reason he's going to be fat," he teased, going to take a drink of his coffee.

"He is not!" Dean protested in mock offense. "He gets all kinds of walks and play time." He looked down at the eager puppy. "Doncha, dude?"
