<sub>[Dean needed the sleep. He deserved it, so Sam hadn't come back to the motel room that night. He'd found another place to wait out the day, get some rest himself. He came back that night though... couldn't stay away. What he should have done was get out as fast as he could, as far away from Dean so he didn't have to follow him, could forget about him eventually... maybe.

But he didn't do that.

He checked around to make sure Dad's truck wasn't anywhere to be seen before he went to check the door, tapping on it to be let in. Figured Dean'd be locked up and he didn't want to break in if Dean was there tonight.]

I could totally rock spandex man, you know it. [He laughed and then yawned. He was starting to feel tired and his skin was feeling weird and prickly]. I feel weird...

No one can rock spandex, Dean. [Sam was huddling under the covers, trying to tug them up over his head because the last thing he wanted, was to get hit by any morning sun that made it in.] Hm? Like what? [He poked his head up briefly.]

When you sleep, you should cover up as well as you can, dude.

Don't know, my skin just feels weird. [he pulled the blanket over his head as instructed, finding he could actually see perfectly in the dark]

Just try to go to sleep, Dean... you'll feel better tonight. [He offered a short smile and yeah, okay, it might have been kind of weird, but he reached over to curl a hand around Dean's wrist loosely, holding on. Wanted that reminder that he was there, with him for real.]

[He did seem to visibly relax at that and nodded at Sam, moving a little closer before shutting his eyes]

'Night, Dean. [Though it was more like 'morning' now, huh? Either way, Sam was able to drift off into an easier sleep than he's had in a long time.]
