_{[Dean needed the sleep. He deserved it, so Sam hadn't come back to the motel room that night. He'd found another place to wait out the day, get some rest himself. He came back that night though... couldn't stay away. What he should have done was get out as fast as he could, as far away from Dean so he didn't have to follow him, could forget about him eventually... maybe.

But he didn't do that.

He checked around to make sure Dad's truck wasn't anywhere to be seen before he went to check the door, tapping on it to be let in. Figured Dean'd be locked up and he didn't want to break in if Dean was there tonight.]

_{[He shrugged, laying his head on the pillow, but staying close.]} I don't really mind... At least you're not scared to touch me.

[He raised an eyebrow and smirked, moving his head so his neck was exposed]. Should I be worried Sammy?

_{[His eyes trailed to Dean's neck before he looked away, shaking his head.]} No... no. I ate. _{[Though it might not mean he doesn't want more already and human blood was- better.]} Jerk.

You sure? [He laughed]. I probably taste awesome.

Dude, don't tease me... _{[He shrugged, looking down.]} I'm sure you do, but I doubt you want to be a snack.

Yeah, I would. _{[He gave a weak laugh at that.]} I'm not gonna eat you, Dean.

So then I don't need to be scared [He layton his head back down on the pillow].

Yeah... _{[He scooted a little closer, reaching out to hold onto the other's shirt sleeve. Just... wanted to make sure he stayed, even if it was probably kind of weird.]}

[He hesitated for a second before wrapping an arm around Sam]. It's okay Sammy, I'm not going anywhere I promise.

_{[He scooted in a little closer, his eyes drifting shut.]} Okay, Dean... _{[he'd just have to believe that promise then and hope Dean didn't come to his senses.]}

[He took a deep breathe and tightened his hold slightky] I'll stay [He knew he shouldn't, but what else did he have? Sam was his life, since he was four years old. Hunting was just something he did and it was important to him but taking care of Sam was his mission in life. If he left...he'd be alone, one of his biggest fears. Dad would leave and he would be stuck alone and lost for the rest of his life, worrying about Sam and not knowing what to do.

He silently cursed himself for being this weak. If John could see him he'd probably behead him just for thinking about this. He loved his Dad and he wanted to make him proud, but is loyalty always lied with Sam. Dad had told him to always look after his brother, and that's what he was going to do. He shut his eyes tight and let out a shaky breathe]. I'll.....I'll stay forever.

_{[Sam stiffened in the other's arms then, eyes widening as he looked up at his brother.]} What are you... Why are you saying that, Dean? You just said-- not to listen to you.

_{[God, but he wanted to. Wanted Dean with him because facing an eternity like this? It wasn't something he thought he could face at all. Not alone anyway.]}

I don't know what else to do Sam. [He kept his eyes shut, not wanting to look at his brother right now]. You don't have to listen to me, I just needed to say it.

_{[He was inching closer, looking him over.]} I just want you to be sure, Dean... there's no going back.

Yeah, I kinda got that with the whole forever thing. I'm not promising I'm not gonna regret it at some point but I would try to work through it... [He finally opened his eyes, looking up at Sam trying as hard as he could not to show how scared he was]. Do you think I should? Honestly?

I can't answer that, Dean... _{[He shrugged a little helplessly.]} You'd be with me forever... you wouldn't die or get old.
